We were tasked with creating an online version of a coffee table book that showcased the Northern European Retail Landscape for Nike.

CONCEPT: ELEMENTAL CITIES

What makes a city? Surely it’s the culture, the people, the history? But there are already tons of books with beautiful photographs of landmarks and customs.

Dala and I came up with the idea to turn that on its head and tell the story in a totally Nike way. Dala took the concept and created a masterpiece that was circulated around the global Nike organization. The copy I wrote was to be simple and easy to read because most of the audience is European and English is not their first language. I took strategic concepts and turned them into Nike team quotes that supported the visual narrative that Dala created. And then refined other bits of strategic information into palatable B2B communication formats.

A quote from Dala: “This design thread painted a slick, progressive, and modern picture of the heritage and identity of each of the 6 cities that make up NIKE’s Northern European offering”.
